ENTERPRENEURSHIP TRAINING
A training session held by the Somaliland Peace and Dialogue organization on April 3, 2026, brought young people together to discuss the importance of entrepreneurship, highlighting a, “gap between jobseekers and employers”. Participants discussed why many youth prefer employment over creating jobs, pointing to factors such as limited opportunities and the need for, “digital access and inclusion”. The discussion also covered the risks and challenges of becoming an entrepreneur, emphasizing the need for, “skills training”. The session aimed to encourage, “dialogue on the peacebuilding process” and the role of entrepreneurship as a, “positive alternative” to unemployment.
